Ed Reed M Élim - Hanche - 10-07-20 Reed is likely to start the season on the physically unable to perform list as he still recovers offseason hip surgery. Being placed on the PUP list would cause Reed to miss the first six games of the season.

Thomas Davis JL Élim - Genou - 10-06-10 Davis tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee for the second time during a non-contact drill in a voluntary workout. The Panthers aren't ruling out a possible return sometime this season.

Limas Sweed RE B-R - Tendon d'Achille - 10-05-12 The Steelers placed Sweed on the injured reserve because of a torn left Achilles tendon which means he will miss the entire 2010 season.
