Jacoby Ellsbury CC 15-Jours LB - Côte - 10-07-27 Ellsbury is currently on the 15-day disabled list as he recovers from a left chest contusion. He will begin a rehab assignment in the final week of July and barring a setback he should return to the majors in early August.

Kerry Wood R 15-Jours LB - Doigt - 10-07-27 Wood has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a blister on his right index finger and is eligible to come off the DL on July 28, but it would seem like he'll need a bit more time than that.
Anthony Reyes P 60-Jours LB - Coude - 10-07-17 Reyes is on the 60-day disabled list after undergoing Tommy John surgery last June. He is not expected back in the Indians bullpen until at least August.

Magglio Ordonez CD 15-Jours LB - Cheville - 10-07-25 Ordonez has been placed on the 15-day disabled list and is expected to miss the next six to eight weeks after suffering a right ankle fracture on a sliding play against the Jays.
Brandon Inge 3B 15-Jours LB - Main - 10-07-20 Inge has been placed on the 15-day disabled list and is expected to miss the next four to six weeks after he was hit on the left hand by a pitch on July 19th and suffered a non-displaced fracture of the fifth metacarpal bone.

Joel Zumaya R Élim - Bras - 10-07-24 Zumaya has been diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture of the olecranon and has undergone successful surgery. He will need four months of rehab which should allow him to be ready for spring training next season.
Zach Miner R Élim - Coude - 10-06-06 Miner underwent Tommy John surgery to repair a partial tear in his elbow and will miss the remainder of the 2010 season. The Tigers are hoping he will be ready for the beginning of the 2011 season.
Bobby Seay R 60-Jours LB - Épaule - 10-05-18 Seay has been transferred to the 60-day disabled list as he continues to rehab from a torn rotator cuff and hopes to avoid career-threatening surgery as he continues to progress in his training and rehab.

Josh Fields 3B Élim - Hanche - 10-06-06 Fields will miss the remainder of the 2010 season after undergoing surgery on his hip. He is expected to be ready for spring training in 2011.

Gil Meche P 60-Jours LB - Épaule - 10-07-28 Meche remains on the 60-day disabled list as he continues to rehab from shoulder bursitis. Unfortunately it looks like Meche will be undergoing surgery and will miss the remainder of the season. The exact nature and date of the surgery are still uncertain but will likely happen in the next few weeks.

Chris Pettit CG Élim - Épaule - 10-07-05 Pettit is currently on the 60-day disabled list and will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder.

Dan Haren P Prob - Bras - 10-07-28 Haren left Monday's game against the Red Sox after taking a line drive off his throwing arm during the fifth inning. His X-rays came back clean on Tuesday after he was examined by a team physician and is expected to make his next start Saturday against the Rangers.
Joel Pineiro P Élim - Oblique - 10-07-28 Pineiro suffered a left oblique strain while warming up in the bullpen. The injury is expected to keep him out for six to eight weeks.
Scott Kazmir P 15-Jours LB - Épaule - 10-07-27 Kazmir has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 11, with a strained left shoulder and Manager Mike Scioscia is hoping he'll be able to return by August 7.
Jason Bulger R 15-Jours LB - Épaule - 10-07-05 Bulger is currently on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 11, with shoulder fatigue. He is eligible to return from the disabled list at any moment, but will probably spend the next week or so throwing bullpen sessions and may even participate in a few minor league rehab games.
Brian Stokes R 15-Jours LB - Épaule - 10-07-16 Stokes remains on the 15-day disabled list as he continues to deal with right shoulder fatigue and stiffness. He continues to rehab the shoulder but his return to the lineup remains uncertain.
Anthony Ortega R 15-Jours LB - Tricep - 10-06-06 Ortega is currently on the 15-day disabled list with tendinitis in his triceps. He has been out since March 30th and there is no timetable for his return.
Minnesota Twins

Orlando Hudson 2B 15-Jours LB - Oblique - 10-07-26 Hudson has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 24, with a right oblique strain.
Justin Morneau 1B 15-Jours LB - Commotion - 10-07-27 Morneau is on the 15-day disabled list with post-concussion symptoms. He suffered the concussion after his head connected with Blue Jays shortstop John MacDonald's knee on a slide into second base. There is no clear indication of when he will be able to return to the lineup.
Matt Tolbert 3B 15-Jours LB - Doigt - 10-07-05 Tolbert has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 1, with a contusion to his right middle finger. It's not clear yet how long he will be out, but he's no guarantee to return to the active roster once he's ready.
Jose Morales Rec 15-Jours LB - Poignet - 10-05-14 Morales expects to be activated from the 15-day disabled list on Thursday and then be optioned to Triple-A Rochester as he attempts to comeback from surgery performed to repair a tendon in his right wrist.

Clay Condrey R 60-Jours LB - Coude - 10-07-24 Condrey was transferred to the 60-day disabled list from the 15-day disabled list with a strained right elbow and will undergo platelet-rich plasma therapy in hopes to avoid surgery. He is expected to be out until late October.

Travis Buck CD 60-Jours LB - Oblique - 10-07-05 Buck is currently on the 60-day disabled list with a strained right oblique but has been sidelined recently due to leg soreness. He is expected to undergo tests to uncover the problem and it remains uncertain of when he will be able to return.
Eric Chavez 3B 60-Jours LB - Cou - 10-07-08 Chavez has been transferred to the 60-day disabled list as he continues to recover from two bulging discs in his neck. He is hoping to return to the A's by September.

Justin Duchscherer P Élim - Hanche - 10-07-24 Duchscherer underwent left hip surgery and has been working with a physical therapist five days per week. Recovery time is usually around six months, meaning that pitching again this year is an extreme long shot.
Jon Meloan R Élim - Coude - 10-07-02 Meloan has been placed on the 60-day disabled list with a ligament tear in his right elbow. He will soon undergo ligament replacement surgery, which would likely place him on the shelf for a year and perhaps longer.
Josh Outman P 60-Jours LB - Coude - 10-06-24 Outman remains on the 60-day disabled list as he recovers from Tommy John Surgery on his elbow and isn't expected to start throwing until late July as he has been experiencing elbow irritation.
Joey Devine R 60-Jours LB - Coude - 10-07-16 Devine remains on the 60-day disabled list as he continues to recover from Tommy John surgery which forced him to miss the entire 2009-2010 season. Devine has suffered numerous setbacks with his rehab and could take until September to return to the bullpen.

Jeff Keppinger 3B Disc - Dos - 10-07-29 Keppinger left Tuesday's game against the Cubs after seven innings with tightness in his lower back and was unable to play Wednesday. He remains questionable Friday against the Brewers.
Geoff Blum 3B 15-Jours LB - Coude - 10-07-13 Blum has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 2, with loose bodies in his right elbow. He underwent surgery and is expected back in early August.
Tommy Manzella AC 15-Jours LB - Doigt - 10-07-15 Manzella has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 23, with a fractured left index finger and is expected back sometime early in August.

Alberto Arias R Élim - Dos - 10-04-23 Arias will miss the remainder of the season after surgery on his right shoulder revealed damage to his rotator cuff and labrum. The original intent of the operation was the shave calcium buildup off of the joints in his shoulder but additional work was required. He may be ready to return during spring training next year.
Brian Moehler P 15-Jours LB - Aine - 10-07-20 Moehler has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 8, with a strained right groin. An early August return is looking promising.
Jeff Fulchino R 15-Jours LB - Coude - 10-07-20 Fulchino has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 29, with tendinitis in his right elbow. An early August return is looking promising.
Felipe Paulino P 15-Jours LB - Épaule - 10-07-21 Paulino has been on the 15-day disabled list with tendinitis in his right shoulder. He suffered a setback with a mild rotator cuff strain and will now have his return date pushed back to mid-August.

Manny Ramirez CG 15-Jours LB - Mollet - 10-07-28 Ramirez is currently on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 17, with a right calf strain. It's the second time Ramirez has been placed on the DL with an injury to his right calf this season and is more than a week away from playing. He will likely require a minor league rehab assignment before returning to the Dodgers. The team is targeting August 10 for his return.
Reed Johnson CC 15-Jours LB - Dos - 10-07-24 Johnson has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 9th, with a sore lower back and recently a setback in his rehab. He is roughly week or so away from returning to the club.

Clayton Kershaw P Élim - Suspension - 10-07-26 Kershaw has dropped his appeal and will serve a five game suspension for intentionally throwing at Giants center fielder Aaron Rowand. His next start is scheduled to be Sunday against the Giants.
Ronald Belisario R Élim - Personnel - 10-07-13 Belisario has been placed on the restricted list due to a substance abuse problem. He has been enrolled in a substance abuse program and can be kept on the restricted list for a maximum of 30 days.

Gregg Zaun Rec Élim - Épaule - 10-06-21 Zaun is currently on the 15-day disabled list with a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder and has successfully undergone season-ending surgery.
Jody Gerut CC 15-Jours LB - Talon - 10-07-26 Gerut is currently on the 15-day disabled list as he recovers from a bruised left heel. He has started a minor league rehab assignment and is probably targeting a return for early August.

LaTroy Hawkins R Disc - Épaule - 10-07-29 Hawkins has been transferred from the 15-day to the 60-day disabled list with joint pain in his throwing shoulder and will require several outings in the minor leagues before returning to the club. Manager Ken Macha said Hawkins will come off the DL in time for Friday's game against the Astros.
Doug Davis P 15-Jours LB - Coude - 10-07-26 Davis has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 10, with left elbow tendinitis. It's not known how long he'll be sidelined.
Marco Estrada R 15-Jours LB - Épaule - 10-06-05 Estrada is currently on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 31, with right shoulder fatigue. There is no timetable for his return.

Fernando Tatis 3B 60-Jours LB - Épaule - 10-07-16 Tatis has been transferred from the 15-day to the 60-day disabled list with a right shoulder sprain of his AC joint. He underwent surgery but there is no time table for his return.

Jimmy Rollins AC Disc - Pied - 10-07-30 Rollins did not play in Thursday's game against the Diamondbacks as he recovers from a bruised left foot he suffered Monday after taking a foul tip off his foot. He remains questionable Friday against the Nationals.
Shane Victorino CC 15-Jours LB - Oblique - 10-07-29 Victorino has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a left oblique strain. He suffered the injury crashing into the wall while tracking down a fly ball.
Chase Utley 2B 15-Jours LB - Pouce - 10-07-02 Utley is currently on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained ulnar collateral ligament in his right thumb. He has undergone surgery and is expected to miss the next eight weeks. He will be in a splint for the next five weeks and if he makes a quick recovery and avoids setbacks, he could be back by early September.

Jamie Moyer P 15-Jours LB - Jambe - 10-07-23 Moyer has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 20, with a sprain of the ulnar collataral ligament and a strain of the pronator tendon in his left arm. He could be done for the season.

Ryan Doumit Rec 15-Jours LB - Commotion - 10-07-26 Doumit is currently on the 15-day disabled list with a concussion and plans on returning to the lineup on August 6.
Steven Pearce 1B 15-Jours LB - Cheville - 10-07-26 Pearce is currently on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained left ankle and has yet to resume any baseball-related activity, so he's obviously still a long ways away. The best-case scenario is that he will be able to resume baseball activities sometime in early August.

Ross Ohlendorf P Prob - Tête - 10-07-29 Ohlendorf left his Wednesday start against the Rockies after he was hit on the right side of his face by a Troy Tulowitzki line drive. He got checked at a hospital and was back at Coors Field before the game ended. A CT scan was negative and it was determined he had a bad contusion with an abrasion. He is expected to make his next scheduled start.
Chris Jakubauskas R 60-Jours LB - Tête - 10-07-29 Jakubauskas has been transferred to the 60-day disabled list. He is currently working his way back from a concussion sustained after he was struck in the head by a Lance Berkman line drive. He has resumed pitching and hopes to return by early August.
Jose Ascanio R 60-Jours LB - Épaule - 10-07-02 Ascanio is currently on the 60-day disabled list as he continues to rehab from shoulder surgery on a torn labrum. There is currently no timetable on his return.

David Eckstein 2B 15-Jours LB - Mollet - 10-07-26 Eckstein is currently on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right calf. He has been making good progress with the injury and is scheduled to return in the first week of August.
Matt Antonelli 2B 60-Jours LB - Main - 10-07-26 Antonelli is currently on the 60-day disabled list after undergoing surgery to repair a broken bone in his left hand. There is no timetable for his return.

Eugenio Velez CG 15-Jours LB - Commotion - 10-07-25 Velez has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 24, after he was struck in the head by a foul ball. CT scans have revealed no skull fractures but he has suffered a concussion and remains uncertain on how much time he will miss.

Jeremy Affeldt R 15-Jours LB - Oblique - 10-07-26 Affeldt has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 21, with a slight tear of his left oblique. The Giants believe Affeldt will be healthy enough to return once his two-week stint is up.
Dan Runzler R 15-Jours LB - Cheville - 10-07-13 Runzler has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a dislocated left knee cap he suffered on a swinging strike. An MRI revealed that the injury will not require surgery. Look for him towards the end of August or early September.
Todd Wellemeyer P 15-Jours LB - Quadricep - 10-07-28 Wellemeyer has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a right quad strain and is not expected back until early August.
St. Louis Cardinals

Nick Stavinoha CD 15-Jours LB - Épaule - 10-07-27 Stavinoha has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right shoulder and has begun a minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis. He should be back to full health by the end of the week.
David Freese 3B 15-Jours LB - Cheville - 10-07-27 Freese is currently on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 28, with a sprained right ankle. He has since dropped a weight on his foot and broke his big toe. It's unknown if the new injury will impact his return to the diamond.

Brad Penny P 15-Jours LB - Dos - 10-07-17 Penny is on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right lat. The Cardinals have no timetable for his return although they are hoping he will pitch again this season.
Kyle Lohse P 60-Jours LB - Avant-bras - 10-07-29 Lohse has been transferred from the 15-day to the 60-day disabled list after it was revealed that he has exertional compartment syndrome which is a very rare condition where the sheath covering a muscle in the forearm fails to allow it to expand. He underwent fascial release surgery and hopes to return by early August.
Washington Nationals

Stephen Strasburg P 15-Jours LB - Bras - 10-07-30 Strasburg has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 22, with inflammation in his right pitching shoulder. The team is looking at roughly 10 days until he'll be able to pitch again.
J.D. Martin P 15-Jours LB - Dos - 10-07-29 Martin is currently on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 24, as he suffers from bulging discs in his lower back. There is currently no timetable on his return.
Luis Atilano P 15-Jours LB - Bras - 10-07-23 Atilano has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with floating chips in his right elbow. He'll need surgery eventually, but will try to pitch out the rest of the season for now.
Jason Marquis P 15-Jours LB - Coude - 10-07-29 Marquis has been placed on the 15-day disabled list and underwent surgery to remove bone chips from his right elbow. He could return to the rotation in early August if he keeps making good progress.
Garrett Mock P 60-Jours LB - Colonne vertébrale - 10-07-28 Mock was transferred from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list due to his cervical spinal disc injury and is not expected to be major-league ready until sometime later this summer.
Jordan Zimmermann P 60-Jours LB - Épaule - 10-04-29 Zimmerman has been making great strides with his recovery from Tommy John surgery and has an outside chance of returning to major league action this August.
Chien-Ming Wang P 60-Jours LB - Épaule - 10-06-22 Wang has started throwing batting practice as he works his way back from a strained shoulder. He originally hoped to return for July, but it's now more likely he will be targeting a return for August.
